I started working at Compass Dental Care because I was looking for a position that enabled me to further my clinical knowledge and skills in dentistry, whilst also allowing me to become part of a supportive team in a wholesome clinic.
My philosophy for dentistry is oriented towards minimal invasiveness and prevention. I particularly appreciate treating patients that suffer from anxiety or phobia, as their transformations into confident and happy people brings me my greatest sense of professional satisfaction. I have had a wonderful opportunity working in various public dental clinics around regional and rural Victoria, and have now settled into the Territorian lifestyle. This has brought me to a voluntary position as a Councilor for the Australian Dental Association NT Chapter, helping to shape the delivery of oral health services and policy across NT.
Having dedicated several years to travelling abroad, my strengths rest in my ability to effectively communicate and readily build rapport and trust with patients. I am particularly interested in restorative and and family dentistry, and am always motivated to become involved in the Darwin community.
