What sedation is available for oral surgery?
All procedures are performed under local anaesthetic. Happy gas (nitrous oxide) is available for mild anxiety — it works in minutes and wears off quickly. Oral sedation (a tablet taken before the appointment) provides deeper relaxation. Dr Pham holds a postgraduate diploma in sedation and pain control, giving him the training to assess and manage sedation safely.
How long is recovery from a surgical extraction?
Simple extractions resolve in a few days. Surgical extractions and wisdom tooth removal involve three to seven days of soreness. Bone grafting requires one to two weeks of initial healing, then several months of bone integration. Dr Pham provides detailed aftercare instructions and monitors recovery at follow-up appointments.
